WW & HNT: Dam It All!

No, no, the Dragon's not swearing!  That would be 'damn'... and she *may* be damned if she keeps this series going much longer! But here she is, back with another offering

See! of a DAM... it even says so!!

I found this place on a bike trip and stopped to explore... and eventually de-scale!

It was tricky as it was hardly isolated; there were other people walking on nearby paths and there was a huge hill nearby that I constantly had to scan as I worked, since someone could have had a bird's eye view of what I was doing quite easily!

Some shots of the mighty waters, for atmosphere :

the mighty waters, yes...

a better look at the force of the water... hmmm...

and a side view, where I finally nestled in ;)

It took some wrangling about to get the proper angle, with many furtive glances about!  I had gotten perhaps one shot I was happy with when I heard voices and suddenly a young boy was walking toward me to check out the scenery!  No idea how much he saw before I saw him!  I turned away from him and just kept shooting pics of the area studious ignoring the fact that he and a couple others were there for several minutes.  When they finally left, I tried one more time and got a shot I liked better :)

So this Dragon De-scaling makes notch #11 on the Scavenger Hunt :)

And the series is not over yet!  I just shot more pics this week... ;)

WW & HNT: Wantonly Sinful

I can't tell you how much I wanted to post this on Sinful Sunday... but in keeping with my Wednesday Dragon De-scaling series, I kept it to today :)

Time for a bit of a revelation... *ahem*  Now, as I state here, you do not ever want to engage me in a discussion of religion.  I am a happy heathen, if a spiritual one.  That being said, I do participate in organised religion, for the sake of the children.  I wanted them to have a broad-based religious education so that they could make their own informed decisions, as I have.

So this is how I ended up here... and felt free to walk in on a recent Sunday...

and climb up to the choir loft... and after a bit of fiddling about, pose...

As I was shooting, I could hear the choir director directly below me in the sanctuary.  She could have come up the stairs at any point...

But I got off scot-free... and notched another mark for the Scavenger Hunt...
In fact, this would be notch #10, which brings me to the Gold!!!
Dee updated the SH page  so I'm showing off my new badge (whee!! thank you Dee!!!! ) :)

And! I have not stopped there!  I recently (and at great risk) snapped pics for notch #11, which I will present next week :)

WW & HNT: The Nurse is IN

...my office, that is.

Yes, I went there... had hoped to be the first to open that category but Lusting Lola beat me to it last week!  No matter, it was still fun to do, and I swear next week I will be the only one in my category (though it's already on the Scavenger Hunt list)!

Now, this was daring for a couple of reasons.  First, the CEO of the agency I work for has his office just a couple doors down from mine and he was also very much "IN" that day.  Secondly, I share my office with another person, as you can see...

...and whilst she doesn't usually work from there on Fridays (the day I did this), she is IN the building and could potentially come by for something.  We do have a door that shuts (and locks!) but she never knocks before entering, she just barges in.

So I set up with some trepidation but also growing excitement.  I could hear voices in the hallway from time to time, which just added to that 'sense of imminent danger.'

After a few shots, I started to relax into it...

And by the end, I was thinking this was actually a great way to do business ;)

Another successful Dragon De-scaling!! I do believe this qualifies me for point #9 in the Scavenger Hunt

WW & HNT: Attention Shoppers!

For the next stop along my quest to be publicly wanton, I visited a chain store of some repute...

As I would be doing this solo, and knew I had to be rabbit-fast in my reactions, I went in with my ashirt tugged down to expose my breasts, covered by a black zip hoodie.  Make no mistake, this place was packed as people shopped pre-hurricane (this was the Saturday afternoon before Tropical Storm Irene hit our area the next day).

I wandered up and down aisles and finally found an opportunity to take a first shot...

and then a second...

literally seconds before someone would walk by at the end of an aisle! scary fun!  And just to show that I can be equal opportunity in regards to exposing breastage...

I was giggling by the time I left the store at all the close calls... definitely an adrenaline high!! in the series of Dragon De-scalings :)
And since then, I've gone and done another round of photos in another spot, so look to next week for more...

I do believe this brings me to point #8 in the Scavenger Hunt

WW & HNT: Woody Fun

I got brave again this past week and had two new adventures in wanton exposure ;)
In true Dragon De-scaling style, I'm going to stretch them out over two weeks...

The East Coast was getting ready for Hurricane Irene.  The weather was starting to get a bit wild; rains were picking up, the air was getting tropical.  Word on the streets was that those of us in New England and New York would get hit sometime on Sunday.  On Saturday afternoon, I finally saw the opportunity for some 'alone' time and took full advantage.  Taz was taking the twins clothes-shopping for school whilst I dropped my older daughter off at a party.  After that, I would be free!!!

I had already pre-loaded the car with camera, tripod, golf umbrella, and shower curtain (the latter two items to set up a windbreak to protect the camera, as I planned to shoot out-of-doors).  Rain was coming down rather heavily as I dropped my daughter off, but my spirits were still high, so I set off for the forest not far from where we live.

There was no way I was getting in through the main entrance to the state park

So I went up a back road... and looked for a good place to pull over.  I considered a couple places before finally settling on one I was sure would not have anyone passing by...

The rain had let up a bit, so I didn't take the shower curtain.  I took the golf umbrella though, and of course the tripod and camera and set off into the woods to grab some nymph shots.  Several hundred feet from the road I found the perfect spot and set up.

After a test shot, I was ready to bare my chest for the camera

Then I got bolder and pulled off my shorts.  As I started taking shots, a pickup truck passed by on the road (I don't think he could see anything, but it still freaked me a bit) and then I think it was the same pickup truck that came back the other way two shots later.  I was too nervous at that point to go for broke, but I think the shots I did capture suffice to make a valid claim for a 7th point on the Scavenger Hunt!

I was quite wet and giggly as I re-claimed my clothes and gear... and the 'high' I felt at that point was quite delicious!  I scampered back to the car and moved on to my next target...

Hope you enjoyed my little adventure!  The word prompt was 'word'

And I'm sure you can find others being wanton here

And if you totally miss Wednesday, there's still the opportunity to be 'Half-Nekkid' on Thursday ;)

WW & HNT: Takin' It to the Street

The moon was full, the night was warm and I was feeling restless.  The 'take it easy' part of this 'rehab from surgery' rubbish was starting to get to me and I needed a little excitement.  So... I tossed a sundress over my a-shirt, pulled off my shorts, and snuck out of the house with my camera and tripod.

Did I mention the moon was full?

Now, I live in a patch of woods with no streetlights, so when I say it was dark, it was DARK.  A fact I'd be very glad for in a little bit.

I made my way carefully along with the torch I keep handy for tech work at the theatre.  I was heading for the part of the road that has an honest-to-goodness street sign that I could pose with.  At this time of the night there was the occasional car that came past the area I was thinking of, and of course people in their homes were still awake, so there was a certain element of danger.

I arrived at the intersection of two streets and the vista of sky opened up... we often come down here to stargaze and watch meteor showers.  The neighbours at the corners still had their lights on, which put a thrill of fear through me... would they notice my camera flashes and peer out to see what was going on?  I set up my tripod and had just taken a test shot when I heard the jingle of a dog collar.  Damn!

A minute later I heard the dog trying to break free of its leash to come at me, and a man's voice.   Immediately I scooped up the tripod with the camera still attached and slipped back into the blackness, moving swiftly up the street in the direction I had come from.  I didn't stop until I reached my driveway; and as it turned out the man and dog were my neighbours across the way.  I waited until I heard them enter their house, then walked back down the street, my heart still pounding from the close call.

Back at the street sign, I set up the tripod once more and stood beneath the street sign to get another test shot.  I was very conscious of all the lights still on in people's houses and alert for any cars, but fortunately remained undistracted and undiscovered as I set up and took my final shot.

Success!  I began to chuckle as I broke down my equipment and was positively giddy by the time I was heading back up the road toward home!  Another successful Dragon De-scaling ;)

Hopefully this has given me my 6th point in the Scavenger Hunt :)

WW & HNT: Tunneling Out

After my wanton run of public display that ended at the library, I returned home riding high on the thrill of it all and decided to go for a bike run.  It was a gorgeous day and I brought the camera along even though I didn't intend on really doing anything more with this series at this point.

I ended up in an idyllic area that had a very nice bike trail

Now, I should mention that I was still wearing the karada, and if you have never biked whilst wearing one you have not lived life to the fullest.  It just adds a certain element that I cannot even describe except to say that it is exquisite to feel the knots move and tighten just so in all the right places, making you feel more... in tune with your body.  Yeah, that's it.

Anyway, as I was biking along I discovered a trail off the beaten path heading into the woods that looked intriguing, so I followed it.  It eventually became too narrow and brambly with too many roots on the floor for safe riding, so I got off and walked a bit.  Eventually I came to a tunnel underneath a major road

and all I could think about was Dee playing in a tunnel, so I parked the bike and strode into the water.  Now, I am not so brave as she, so only my top came off, but it still gave me that thrill ;)

So I'm hoping that I'm halfway to gold now on the Scavenger Hunt ;)

And believe it or not, there is more to the Dragon De-scaling series, I just got daring again last Friday so another installment is forthcoming ;)
