Helloooooooo Nurse!

I should be all up in arms I suppose about how my profession is being characterised by the 'naughty nurse' image.  I used to get bent out of shape about it, but over the years have become sick to death of 'political correctness' and subsequently mellowed out.  The kink is out there and there to stay; as characterisations go there are far worse out there and I try to promote at least the intelligence of the nurse (even the animated ones).

Naughty Nurses Day

National Nurse Week (6-12 May) kicks off today with this day being National Nurse Day, National Student Nurse Day on 8 May, National School Nurse Day on the Wednesday of the week so 11 May this year, and International Nurses Day on 12 May, which also happens to be Florence Nightingale's Birthday.  The theme this year is "Nurses Trusted to Care."

We're very good to have around, as we have an intimate knowledge of anatomy.  And we all know that...

To be honest, I never have gotten into the Doctor/Nurse fetish... and sites such as this really don't do anything for me.  But I do believe that we should have a Naughty Nurses Day during National Nurse Week!  Therefore I am officially declaring tomorrow (Saturday) to be Naughty Nurses Day and I'm hoping to see some people paying tribute to their favorite naughty nurse.  No, that need not be me (though I won't object if it is!)!!  I'm hoping that people will "rise to the occasion" and be creative!! :)
